What is Sacred Geometry?
- Sacred Geometry is the recognition that the basic patterns of existence are sacred. By connecting with these patterns a deeper understanding of the universe may be gained. The same patterns that are found in geometry and mathematical ratios are also found in nature, music and cosmology.
- These sacred universal patterns have been expressed throughout history in great architecture and art. Many great traditions and thinkers have explored and revered these patterns, including the Egyptians, the ancient Indians, Greeks and Romans, the Medieval Europeans and the Hebrews (specifically within the Kabbalah).
Sacred Patterns and Forms
- Today, in contemporary times, there has been a resurgence of interest in sacred geometry, with many studying these patterns and making connections that deepen our understanding of existence.
- The Art Abundance Project strives to include a consciousness and exploration of these sacred patterns and forms in the design of each image.
