The Artist

Pippa Anais Gaubert, is a mixed-media artist who specializes in uplifting, decorative art.

She lives in the beautiful Hill Country of Austin, Texas, in a home studio surrounded by trees and wildlife, with views of the lake.

The daughter of a weaver and a blacksmith, she grew up in the far South-West of Cornwall, England, an area world famous for its arts, surrounded by wild moor lands, cliffs and Celtic heritage.

She has since lived in many artistically inspiring places all over the world, including Andalucia, Ibiza, Amsterdam, London, California and New York.

Pippa Anais Gaubert

I strive to create works which will delight and facilitate the experience of rich sensuality and beauty.

I look to nature for subject matter. I am continuously astounded by the remarkable combination and nuance of color and texture found in the natural world. The art itself employs a many-staged method of hand watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic and gold leafing, digital collage, state-of-the-art giclee and laborious hand-finishing using only the highest quality materials at every stage. The result is vividly colored, joyous, vibrant art.
